HIGH SCHOOL OUTDOOR TRACK
2/15/23 - I finally finished working on this collection page after spending the last hour working on it in the HCC Library computer lab. Looking back at all of these photos that I took during the outdoor season made me reflect on how much I've grown since then. It hasn't even been a year yet since the season started but I can tell you one thing: I have improved my mental health and I have improved the way I capture photos. The last few months of my senior year were the toughest months I've ever had to face. The fear of growing up and the feelings of loneliness constantly knocked me down to the point where I could barely push myself to go out to the meets and take photos. Since then, I have improved greatly and for the first time in forever I can proudly say I'm not lying about the way I'm feeling. I feel good. Life is beautiful and I am grateful to be alive for every second of it. Every time I take a photo now, I make sure to capture the beauty of life, emotions and the bonds between people. I can't wait for the upcoming outdoor season for both college and high school track.
